We're reimagining eDiscovery for the AI era
A letter from our CEO
My interest in the law began in grade school, when my mother made a career switch and went back to law school in her 40s. Any time I stayed home from school she brought me into law school with her (surprisingly, her professors allowed it), and I fell in love with it all — from legal writing to torts to constitutional law.
Instead of law, my career path took me to computer science, building massive scale systems for understanding language, images, and data as a PhD student at MIT and as CTO of Chartbeat.
These paths converged though, and in this modern era no field is better positioned to take advantage of advances in AI than Law. I'm personally thrilled to be combining these passions and bringing AI to legal teams, letting computers tackle the most tedious parts of legal work and freeing skilled lawyers and legal professionals to do the creative reasoning that brought them to the law in the first place.
For those who share this passion, my inbox is always open for ideation, for business, or for advice. Do reach out: josh@phase.law.
